Transferring from public school
A straightforward, supported transition.
BQA is a registered private school in Ontario. Moving a child from a public school to BQA is a seamless process, and our office guides parents through the required enrollment and student-record steps after an offer is accepted.
Because we teach the Ontario curriculum and monitor progress through regular assessment, students remain academically prepared if they later need to transition back to a public or another Ontario school.

Tuition is the same across JK/SK and Grades 1–8, with a monthly discount for each additional child from the same family.

The annual registration fee confirms the student’s registration for the coming academic year.

Financial assistance & sponsorship
Do not let tuition alone close the door.
If you believe BQA is the right educational step for your child, difficulty paying the full monthly tuition should not be the reason you do not apply. Through the Muslim Association of Brantford’s Zakat fund and caring community sponsors, partial or full assistance may be available to eligible families.

Families who may need partial or full assistance are invited to speak directly with Br. Omar Sheikh. Every request is approached respectfully, and confidentiality is taken very seriously.

You can sponsor a student’s tuition partially or fully by contacting BQA management. You may also contribute directly to the Muslim Association of Brantford’s Zakat fund.

Practical information for families
What to expect before the first day.
Simple routines help students arrive prepared for learning, prayer, and participation in a masjid-based school environment.
Islamic learning materials are provided
BQA provides each student with a Qaida, a Quran with Tajweed, and the appropriate Tas-heel books.
Bring notebooks and stationery
Students bring their own notebooks and stationery. The school keeps extra supplies available when they are needed.
No school uniform
There is no uniform. Students are expected to wear proper, modest attire suitable for learning inside a masjid and praying Duhr.
Peanut- and nut-free buildings
Families must follow the school’s peanut- and nut-free requirements when packing snacks and lunches.
After-school options
Parents who cannot pick up at 3:00 p.m. can contact the office for after-school program details and availability.

BQA uses the Ad-Din App to communicate important school information with parents.

When a grade reaches capacity or general admissions are temporarily placed on hold, families can join the waitlist. We will use this information to contact you if an appropriate space becomes available.

Who can apply?
Families may apply for children entering JK, SK, or Grades 1–8. Placement depends on available space, the completed admissions process, and the school’s ability to support the student.
Can my child transfer from a public school?
Yes. BQA is a registered private school in Ontario, and the school office guides accepted families through a seamless transfer and student-record process.
How is student progress assessed?
Teachers use regular quizzes and tests, mid-term examinations, and final examinations to follow progress closely and identify where individual support is needed.
How will my child’s Quran level be decided?
Every incoming student completes an individual assessment in Qaida, recitation, and Tajweed. A student advances to Juz Amma and the Quran only after a BQA Quran teacher confirms that the required foundation is secure.
Does submitting the form guarantee a place?
No. The form begins the process. Admission is confirmed only through a written offer and completed enrollment agreement.
Can I tour the school first?
Yes. Email the school office to request a tour or an admissions conversation.
How will payments be made?
Families can pay through the school’s online payment link or use e-transfer after confirming the current payment instructions with administration.
